O Campeonato Chileno – HISTÓRIA
A Divisão Primeira do Chile, ou Campeonato Chileno de futebol é um dos maiores da América Latina. Também é a competição máxima do futebol chileno. A competição é organizada pela Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP) e pela Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Amateur (ANFA). A disputa acontece desde 1933, e é um dos mais longevos campeonatos da América Latina.
Colo-Colo, Universidade do Chile, Universidad Católica, Cobreloa e Unión Española formam o seleto grupo de clubes que conquistaram mais de 4 campeonatos chilenos em suas disputas, que acontecem desde 1933. Audax, Magallanes e Everton ostentam 4 conquistas, mas apenas o Everton entre eles foi campeão no Século XXI.
O Campeonato de 2020 terminou já em 2021, com 762 gols marcados em 314 partidas. O Campeão foi a Universidad Católica (15º título) e o Vice-campeão Unión La Calera. Os times que foram qualificados para a Libertadores 2021: Universidad Católica (Chile 1), Unión La Calera (Chile 2), Universidad de Chile (Chile 3) , Unión Española (Chile 4). Entretanto, para a Copa Sul-Americana de 2021: Palestino (Chile 1) Deportes Antofagasta (Chile 2) Cobresal (Chile 3) Huachipato (Chile 4). A Universidad Católica defende seu tricampeonato, algo raro de acontecer na competição do país Sul-Americano.
O atual campeão de 2020 é A Universidad Católica, que se tornou o time a ser batido. Por outro lado, o La Calera foi o vice Campeão.

Campeonato Nacional AFP PlanVital – CHILENO DE 2021/2022
A Primeira División do Campeonato Chileno de Futebol de 2021, oficialmente Campeonato Nacional AFP PlanVital de 2021 por motivos de patrocínio, é a 105ª edição da principal divisão de futebol do Chile. A ANFP é a responsável pela organização do campeonato que, neste ano, será disputado por 17 equipes, diferente das 16 que tradicionalmente disputam todos os anos.
- Desda edição de 2018 será disputado em dois turnos, no sistema de todos contra todos.
- Ao final da disputa, a equipe vencedora é coroada “Campeã Nacional da Primeira Divisão do Futebol Profissional Chileno”.
- Os 1º, 2º e 3º colocados terão acesso para jogar a Copa Libertadores (o campeão e vice classificados diretamente na fase de grupos)
- Os 4º, 5º, 6º e 7º colocados terão acesso para disputar a Copa Sul-Americana
